Vacation Bible School children

Vacation Bible School

We are excited to be returning in person for our 14th annual Churches of Charles Vacation Bible School for children ages three through fifth grade. We have made some changes, however, to keep our children, who are not yet able to be vaccinated, safe. VBS will take place outside on a large grassy area at the Cathedral of the Incarnation and has been moved to the evening from 6 PM – 8 PM to avoid the heat of the day.…

Intergenerational Service Day

The Peace & Justice Committee, Christian Nurture Council, and Mission Council invite you to join residents of Greenmount West for a Neighborhood Beautification day! In a program organized by The Center, there will be litter removal, harvesting at a community orchard, helping some older community members with small projects, park maintenance, and more. A portion of the $25 registration fee will go towards the neighborhood association’s pandemic relief efforts. Contact Emily Park to sign up.

Easter Carillon Concert

Our handbell director, Beau Lochte, will hold an Easter Carillon Concert on the Smith Hall balcony (near St. Paul and Stratford). We invite up to 40 people to join us, masked and socially-distanced, on the church lawn to enjoy the concert. Bring a chair. Easter Virtual Worship

This Easter we will hold an in-person Sunrise Service at 7 AM on the front steps of the church (or in the Sanctuary in the event of rain) for up to 40 people and a virtual 10 AM worship service livestreamed on Second Presbyterian’s YouTube channel.
