The Book of Psalms has been called the ‘Prayer Book of the Bible.’ Some of the Bible’s most famous images and phrases are found in this remarkable collection of 150 gathered writings.
Some of them are so familiar we know them by heart, and others sound odd, foreign and incomprehensible.
Join us, along with members of Knox Presbyterian Church, as we make a deeper connection to the word of God in the Psalms. These verses can help you give voice to our common human experience– sorrow, faith, uncertainty, joy, and faith. This study is user-friendly for those with little prior Bible experience.
Michael Jinkins, an ordained Minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), hosts the video portion of this study. The Rev. Dr. Tom Blair will host the ‘live’ discussion after the brief video overview, via Zoom.
