On Sunday, October 29, we will worship together as a congregation during a single 10 am worship service and then celebrate the season with Trunk-or-Treating. All are invited to decorate their trunks with a spook-tacular theme, bring lots of candy, and enjoy a day of good old fashioned ghoulish fun! We can’t wait to see some creative car trunks decked out in the Halloween finery. There will be prizes for for decorating (most creative and best Biblical theme).
Sign up to decorate your trunk and/or help with set-up and clean-up. We would also welcome contributions of snacks (chips, etc.) If you are decorating, don’t forget to bring Halloween candy (20 pieces recommended).
11:00 – 11:30 am – Cars participating in Trunk or Treat get lined up on St. Paul Street. Once St. Paul is full please begin parking on Stratford Rd (closest to intersection of St Paul), change into costumes, and lunch is served (weather permitting this will be outside picnic style) We ask our trunk-or-treaters to wait until all are ready to begin.
11:30 am – Trunk or Treat Begins!
12:10 pm- Winners of Trunk Contest will be announced.
12:30 pm – Cars participating in event are free to leave
ALL ARE WELCOME! Bring your friends, family, grandchildren, children, neighbors…anyone who enjoys some good Halloween fun! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
