On Sunday mornings, we have a dedicated team prepared to care for your children and teach them about God and Christ’s boundless love. Sunday school meets between the two services from 10 AM to 11 AM from September through May. Occasionally, when one service is held at 10 AM, Sunday School will meet at 9 AM.
Ages 3-5th grade: Children enjoy Bible stories and hands-on activities taught by a group of caring and dedicated volunteer Sunday School teachers. Sunday school classes are divided into the following age groups:
- Pre-K: ages 3 & 4
- Kindergarten-1st grade
- 2nd-3rd grades
- 4th – 5th grades
Middle and High School: Second is a place where middle and high schoolers can encounter Jesus Christ and grow into the grace, love, joy and hope of knowing and following Him together! We engage our older youth with age-appropriate curriculum to deepen their knowledge of the Bible and to encourage wide-ranging discussions to discover the relevancy of these Christian lessons to their everyday lives.
- Middle School: 6th – 8th grades
- High School: 9th – 12th grades
This year our high school class will meet on the FIRST and FOURTH Sunday of each month at nearby coffee house. Students will meet our teachers at 10 am at the entrance to the chapel. As a class they will walk to a nearby coffee shop, have coffee and small group discussion, and then walk back for church.
With the goal of providing experiential learning opportunities, on other Sundays students will be involved in church activities including liturgical dance routines, music for worship, designing bulletin covers and props for the Christmas pageant, congregational events, 5th Sunday mission projects, and helping in Sunday School classrooms.
