This MLK Day (January 17, 2022), the community of churches along N. Charles St. are coming together once again to serve our community, honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. This is a great way for us learn about local mission programs, meet new people, and be the presence of Christ in someone else’s life.

THRIFTABLE CLOTHING COLLECTION
Benefitting Loyola University Maryland CCSJ
Drop off at Second Presbyterian Church
4200 St. Paul St.
Baltimore, MD 21218
9:00am-12:00pm
The Center for Community Service & Justice at Loyola University Maryland will be hosting monthly thrifting events next semester. Thrift shopping is an overlooked way of practicing sustainability. This type of shopping reduces energy consumption, air pollution, mountains of landfill, and keeps our oceans cleaner. All proceeds from the events will go to local environmental groups and initiatives.
To assist in their efforts, CCSJ is looking for donations of slightly used clothes in wearable condition. All items must be washed before donating. Socks and undergarments will not be accepted.
