Experience Our Las Posadas “Inns” Christmas Pageant

Immediately following the 10:30am service this Sunday, December 5th, we will journey together as a church community in our “Las Posadas,” Spanish for “The Inns”, pageant. Traveling around the church building, led by our children and youth, we will reenact the journey of Mary and Joseph by knocking on doors seeking shelter. Join us for a fun Family Mission & Movie Night

Each month, Second will hold a Mission and Movie Night catered towards children and families. Our first movie night takes place on Friday, November 12th. The night begins at 5:15 with pizza and snacks, then it’s masks on at 6:00 pm for a brief mission project followed by a family movie. The kids will be able to pick the movie among several options. New COVID Protocols Approved

The Session of Second Presbyterian Church approved a new set of COVID protocols on August 17, 2021 listed below.  1. In addition to the mandate to wear masks inside all Church buildings currently in place, Second Presbyterian Church strongly endorses the practice of physical distancing as well as the avoidance of physical contact. 2.  In concert with the Christian Nurture Council’s desire, Sunday School will take place in person this fall. Welcome to Our New Interim Pastor

We welcome Rev. Randall (Randy) Clayton who began this week in his new role as Senior Interim Pastor at Second Presbyterian. Randy comes to us from Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, DE where he served as interim pastor. Worship Regathering Updates

We are gradually opening up for in-person worship. Our early in-person service has moved to 8:30 AM and is now open to 80 people in the sanctuary. Masks, social-distancing, and advanced registration are still required. Our 10 AM virtual service will open to up to 40 people in the chapel beginning on May 16th.
