November 11th Worship: 9 AM & 11 Services | Matthew 20:20-28 “A Distant Mirror”

Churches of Charles & Bolton Street Synagogue Service of Vigil & Prayer Tonight

CHURCHES OF CHARLES & BOLTON STREET SYNAGOGUE

SERVICE OF VIGIL AND PRAYER
in Response to Shooting at
Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh

Tuesday, October 30
6—8 pm (music beginning at 5:45 pm)
@ Second Presbyterian Church

News of the tonight’s vigil has spread including being shared today by Tom Hall today on WYPR. Bolton Street Synagogue is now participating in the service. Additionally, some BSO musicians reached out to play for the service. They will begin playing at 5:45 pm.

The doors to the Sanctuary will be open from 6-8 pm and all are welcome to come and go as they are able. We will offer a time of silence, guided prayer, music, and scripture reading. In time of mourning and grief we gather in community to offer a prayerful response to violence and hatred. Together as a neighborhood presence of faith, we take a stand to say we will not be divided and hate has no place in a house of worship.

Come, make space for prayer and healing.

Blessings,

The Pastors of the Churches of Charles
